Mary J. (Stultz) Kennedy, 85 years, wife of Lyle J. Kennedy, deceased, entered into the presence of her Savior on March 6, 2018.
Born at home on October 7, 1932, to Harold T. and Ruth L. (Warman) Stultz. She graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School as salutatorian, class of 1950. She received her B.S. degree from Butler University in 1954.
Mary and Lyle were married in 1953, celebrating 57 years together until his passing in 2011. She worked at Methodist Hospital as a medical technologist (MT[ASCP]) for over 30 years in many departments, retiring in 1989.
She had been a member of Hope Church and Walnut Grove Chapel, serving as Sunday School teacher, church librarian, and singing in the choir.
Mary is survived by her children: Deborah (Chris) Klay, Daniel (Christine) Kennedy,
Mary Dowell, (Jim, deceased), Anita (Richard) McCready, Nancy (Jon) Lyles, as well as her sister Norma Jacobson.
She was dearly loved by her 10 grandchildren: Angela Healy, Melissa Rogers, Ryan Kennedy, Christopher Kennedy, Rachel Conner, Todd McCready, Lauren McCready, Katy Kirby, D.O., Philip Kirby, and Jenny Kirby. She leaves a loving legacy of 13 great-grandchildren: Aiden, Ben, Claire, Eva, Blake, Hannah, Cy, Garrett, Heath, Hailey, Jack, David, and Zoey.
Services will be held at College Park Castleton, 5825 E. 91st Street, Indianapolis, IN on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11am, with visitation from 10am until time of service.
